November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month and it’s important for Americans to be aware of this. In the United States it is the leading cause of death among both men and women. Most of us have been touched in one form or another by this disease either with a family member, friend or a colleague. Any form of cancer is bad and research should continue to focus on eliminating this disease in all of its forms. You can show your support to block cancer this November by wearing a hockey themed hoodie to “Block Cancer”. The spelling of “CANCER” represents six different forms of cancer. Pink is breast cancer, yellow is bone cancer, white is lung cancer, blue is prostate cancer, green is liver cancer and orange is for leukemia.
